At last we are able to open the restaurant!
From 10am tomorrow morning we will be open for service. The team is excited, the preparations are made, the flower displays for the tables are ready (see above), the croissants are rising. We look forward to welcoming you whether for coffee and a croissant in the morning or for lunch from Midday. Tables are only outside but it looks as though the weather will be kind with warm spring sunshine for most of the week.
The booking system is now live and we would encourage you to book ahead as we have limited tables outside and we want to be able to accommodate everyone. If you do want to book a table please click here to see current availability.
Lots of delicious fish and seafood from Cornwall again this week – stars of the show are the first lobsters we have been able to get this year. Fresh and feisty when they arrive, we will have them for sale in the shop and in the restaurant where we will serve them with Jersey Royal potato salad and insanely delicious home-made mayonnaise. Also on the slab, we have more Cock Crab, Monk Fish Loins, Large Cod fillets, Hake Cutlets and a few Scallops.
We hope to see you over the next few days whether in the shop, the restaurant or both!
