Lots of Christmas treats to tempt you this week…

Lots of Christmas ideas this week!

As well as the wonderful new artworks I mentioned last week, we have been very busy with the autumn harvest in the kitchen. We have lots of Pickles (Green Tomato Chutney, Piccalilli), Jams (Quetsche and Pershore Plum), Chilli Sauces (Spicy Harissa, Sweet Chilli Sauce) and Drinking Vinegars (Blackcurrant and Quetsche Plum). There are also beautiful bulbs – statuesque Amaryllis and scented Paperwhite Narcissi in delicate hand thrown pots from Willow Pottery and timed to flower over the Festive period. And then the specials – our unique Christmas Puddings made according to Elisa Acton’s recipe from 1845 or perhaps a grow your own Oyster Mushroom Kit for the green-fingered among you?

We will be adding to the Christmas Offer on the website over the next week as we get confirmation on vegetables and prices, but, in the meantime, the ordering system is now open for dates upto and including Christmas Eve. You can order on-line for delivery or Click and Collect – why not plan to join us for a celebratory lunch when you collect?

A reminder of the Oxford Chamber Music Festival’s series of concerts in support of Ukrainian Musicians running from 13-17th December. Click below to access their box office where you will able book some of the remaining tickets.

In support of the event, we are offering our Christmas menu for the discounted price of £30 to anyone who can produce a valid receipt for tickets to one of the concerts. In return, anyone who eats at the farm during the week from 10th to 17th December can use their receipt from here to claim a 15% discount for in-person ticket purchases at the Box Office. A win-win which we hope will incentivise lots of people to venture out to hear one of the wonderful concerts.

We look forward to welcoming you to the farm again this week, whether you come to shop, to breakfast or to lunch.
