More delicious clams this weekend

Our second email of the week so again a short one. Clams, Almeijoas, Vongole – whatever you call them, whichever country you might normally eat them in, we have lots this weekend. Many of you have pre-ordered the clams in which case, should you place a second order for the rest of your fruit and vegetables, we will ensure that they are processed for simultaneous collection. Of course, if you prefer to come in and shop in person, we will be delighted to greet you. For those still self-isolating, we have a little good news – for the first time this week, we are going to add fish and seafood to the home deliveries.

So the full roster of fish available is clams – £17 per kg or £30 for 2kg, the Linguine alle Vongole Mealbox with all the ingredients you need to prepare this delicious Italian dish for 4 people (+ a recipe card) at @£25, and glistening, fresh hake fillets as these have been so popular over the last couple of weeks.

For those who have grown to love the Ascott Gardens Goose Eggs, a warning that this is the last week these will be available. Luckily we have managed to secure some redcurrants from Anne to tide us through till our own blackcurrants ripen in the next couple of weeks. There may be torrential thunderstorms as I write this but the

first redcurrants definitely tell you that summer has arrived!
