Our very first Worton tomatoes have been picked this week!

We are in full production on the farm now with new produce each week. As I write, we are just picking our first salad potatoes of the year – Ratte – and we also have Jostaberries, Tayberries, Blackcurrants, White Marseilles Figs. Perhaps most exciting, we have picked our first tomatoes – delicious savoury/sweet cherry tomatoes. If you visit the farm this weekend, do have a look around the greenhouses to see the numbers and varieties of tomatoes we are growing. With a little more sun, we should have an abundance in the next couple of weeks.

More delicious Sardines from Cornwall this week together with Cuttlefish, Monkfish, Lemon Soles, Lobsters and Scallops.

A last call for anyone who would like to support our nomination as a Muddy Stiletto finalist – if you haven’t already done so, please click the following image to vote for us before 5pm on Friday 23rd:

For anyone worried about the weather forecast for the weekend, I just wanted to remind you that we only take bookings for the number of tables we can accommodate inside or under cover. Anyone with a booking can choose to sit inside or out depending on the vagaries of our English summer weather.

So do go ahead and book whether for Lunch, Aperitivos or Dinner. We look forward to greeting you over the coming days.
