Looking forward to our new evening openings?

For our second weekend of evening openings, we look forward (perhaps!) to a little more heat and sunshine. Whether you decide to join us for Aperitivos or Dinner, why not try one of our new cocktails? Following our first pressing of Elderflower Cordial last weekend, we are delighted to introduce the Hugo, a refreshing blend of Worton Elderflower, Mint and Cava topped with a slice of lime. Alternatively you could go for our version of a HixFix – Sloe Berry, Sloe Gin and Cremant de Limoux.

The season continues to supply abundant produce at the farm – this week we add in French Beans and outdoor Turnips, together with wonderful, plump Broad Beans, Brokali, Romanesco Cauliflowers, Pak Choi, Parsley, Lettuce, Carrots and Beetroots. Lots of flowers too – Martagon Lillies, Cornflowers, Sweet Williams and Snap Dragons are all looking great. If we don’t have anything you fancy in the shop when you arrive, just ask us to make up a bunch for you…

Lots more fresh fish and seafood arriving on Thursday – we will have more Cock Crabs and Lobsters, Monkfish, Lemon Sole, Palourde Clams, Scallops and Squid. All will be available as delicious dishes in the restaurant or as wet fish from the shop.

We hope the anticipated sun warms the gardens at the weekend and we look forward to welcoming you in the shop and the restaurant.
