More delicious seafood arriving from Cornwall this Thursday – sweet, plump scallops, squid and whiting fillets all available in the shop and the restaurant. Whether you are taking part in YogaVenue’s session tomorrow morning or just visiting for coffee, cakes, or lunch, we look forward to welcoming you.
To compliment the seafood, we have some stunning produce with tomatoes, cucumbers and aubergine reaching their prime and padron peppers, tomatillo, garlic and elephant garlic also ready.
The fruit of the moment, however, is the Mirabelle – a fickle fruiter as it is one of the earliest to flower, this year has been very good. The fresh plums are on sale in the shop together with Mirabelle Jam and Mira-Beena (our take on a certain well known cordial!). New in the restaurant is Mirabelle sorbet – bubblegum pink and utterly delicious, we have only one batch of this treat – when its gone, its gone!
