Wonderful warm sunshine this week at the farm. People are eating at outside tables again, the buds are bursting, insects are on the wing and birds are in pursuit. In the glasshouses, the flowers are racing away and we have lots of tulips for sale both by the stem and in stunning bunches – all ready to form the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. Our flowers are grown from organic bulbs, are picked fresh each morning and will last much longer than their mass produced equivalents…
There are still a few tickets available for this weekend’s Wine Tasting Dinner. The menu will be a delicious five course menu of Puntarella alla Romana, Galician Octopus, Boeuf Bourguignon, Cheeseboard and a selection of your favourite desserts – the wines have been chosen to compliment the food and we will be serving five pairs of wine one with each course. At the end, we will be eliciting your views so that we can select our list for the coming quarter. With your ticket you will be entitled to a 20% discount on purchases of the wines drunk so click here to reserve a place now.
All our tables are now booked for Sunday lunchtime but there are several still available for tomorrow and Saturday. Do come and join us whether for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.
