So nowhere to hide .. we are but 6 days away …
Christmas at the farm and we are delighted to be able to share some of our festivities with you …
First up, we will, of course be serving Christmas Lunch on the 25th – two sittings for a luxurious, indulgent lunch with none of the aggravation and none of the washing-up! The Geese are harvested, the Puddings stirred, the Loch Duart Salmon cured, the Owner’s Cuvee wine to hand. All is set for one of the most delicious celebrations of the year …. !
Most of you will already have determined your location for the big day but for anyone still undecided, click here. We have tickets still available, particularly for the Midday serving which will have you home, should you so choose, in time for the King’s Speech!
A Christmas menu from tomorrow with Worton Cured Loch Duart Gravadlax, Confit Duck with Beluga Lentils, Szechuan Longhorn Ribs and Eliza Acton’s Original 1845 Christmas Puddings making a welcome return. Oh, and of course, we will be serving the best Mince, or should that read Quince Pies.
Open as usual in the run up to Christmas, we look forward to welcoming you to share delicious food and company here at the farm. The highlight this weekend will be on Sunday when our Roast will be 18 Hour Roast Saddleback Shoulder served with Apple Sauce, Roast Potatoes and Braised Red Cabbage – do come and join us!
