Delicious seafood from Cornwall again this week. Obviously, very difficult with the recent storms, so limited availability but we have got some fine fresh fish arriving at the farm tomorrow morning.
You will have a choice between mackerel, whole plaice, plump scallops and cock crabs. All available on-line, for click and collect or delivery and also in the restaurant. You may have seen the revised certifications from the Marine Conservation Society this week …. happily all our choices are green-lighted! The farmed scallops in particular are good to eat – not only delicious but harvested without any recourse to dredging or disruption of the natural seabed. This week we will be serving them on the half shell with coriander butter and toasted hazelnuts. How will you cook yours at home?
