The Wolf of the Sea?

Back to seafood this weekend with an extra special delivery from our friends in Cornwall.

For the first time this year, we have some glistening fresh, wild Sea Bass currently en route from Newlyn fish market. We will be roasting the whole fish either for individual servings or as sharing dishes for the table – some of these fish are big enough to feed 5-6 people!

As an appetiser, we will also be serving Ceviche, the Peruvian “raw” fish dish in which chunks of the larger seabass will be quickly marinaded in lime juice, chilli, salt and coriander to deliver a lip-smackingly delicious dish. Not often seen on menus in England as you need very fresh fish, we really urge you to come and try our Worton Ceviche.

More delicious single variety apple juices as Rupert from Tiddly Pommes has been processing the last sweet apples of the year. Only available in small bottle numbers, we have a range of delicious juices on sale in the shop including Tydeman’s Late Orange, Crawley Beauty and Laxton’s Superb to compliment our special blended juices No3 and No 4. Finally, and for the first time, we have an exquisite sweet pear juice and a really special pressing of Aromatnaya Quince juice.
