New opening hours this week – first time opening Wednesday to Sunday from 10-4pm. To celebrate, we will be offering free takeaway coffee to all customers who visit the shop next Wednesday.
Thanks to everyone who made suggestions about how we can help you during this second lock-down. Lots of good ideas which we are working through.
First change is to revive something we did during the earlier lock-down – our Meal in a Box service. This week we have put together all the ingredients you need to recreate our delicious Linguine Alle Vongole together with a recipe card. Of course, we are now licensed so we can also add a bottle of delicious Sander Riesling. Boxes with or without Reisling are available by clicking the links below.
Second change is to increase the takeaway offer – this will evolve over the weeks but from Friday we will be adding takeaway soup to the coffee, teas and cakes.
On the fish front, as well as clams, we again have a few large cock crabs, along with whole mackerel and, for the first time this year, some anchovies – perfect for making homemade “whitebait”
