A few suggestions for Christmas presents this week …
You may, of course, be a super-organised person who bought all their presents before Michaelmas but if, like me, you have held off in the hope of late inspiration, there’s still time! For our Christmas treats, the last recommended postal date for a Christmas delivery is Friday 20th December. The page of goodies that we can send through the post, including our Great British Taste Winning Blackcurrant Drinking Vinegar and Worton Wild Honey, is accessible here.
Alternatively, we would love to greet you in person in the shop where our full range of produce will be available to buy right through to 5pm on Christmas Eve – if there’s something in particular you would like, feel free to call or email to let us know what you will be after. Or, if you prefer, you can pre-purchase your box of groceries, fruit and veg and, perhaps, a cake or quiche online for either click and collect or delivery.
You may wish to gift a meal with us – in this case, you can click here to access our gift vouchers – these can be sent via post or email in case your decision is very last minute! All vouchers can be “spent” in person or on-line an on a meal or in the shop.
If you want to gift something really special, why not buy a ticket to one of our unique workshops or events – there are lots available whether Sip and Paint Evenings, Fermentation Workshops, Sourdough Bread Making or perhaps our Jazz Guitar Evening in April. Surely something to please everyone and a truly special present you can buy at any point right up to the day itself! Click here
Talking of Christmas Day, we still have some seats available for Christmas Lunch at the farm. We are hosting a more family focused lunch at Midday with children in high chairs free and those in chairs only £30 a head. Tickets are available by clicking here. For the grown ups the sitting at 3pm is filling up but there are still a few tickets available.
So a full range of options for your Christmas delectation and delight! We will also be open for the first time between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve – why not join us for some comforting favourites on Boxing Day or during the following week. Think Crispy Goose Pancakes, Ham Hock and Pease Pudding, Sausage and Coco Beans or Goan Fish Curry.
Finally, we are today launching our first ever New Year’s Banquet. One sitting at 8pm for a luxurious menu for anyone who wants to avoid the hullabaloo and just go out for a great meal. Candles, glittering lights, great food and indulgent wine – whats not to like? Click here to secure you ticket
