At long last we are open again!

Many of you have eaten here huddled against the wind and rain over the last couple of weekends and we are enormously grateful for you support!

From tomorrow, however, full indoor service resumes – we will be serving coffee, cakes and croissants from 10 each morning and full lunch service from 12. As ever, we are open from 10am till 4pm every Wednesday to Sunday. We have lots of new members of the team and everyone is excited to welcome you back.

By way of celebration, we have a couple of truly delicious exotic seasonal treats…. Spanish Loquats and Alphonso Mangoes from India. Traditionally the first fruit of Spring in Iberia, Loquats will be available in the shop, online and as a Frangipane tart in the restaurant. Our second treat is possibly the most delicious fruit in the world – the Alphonso Mango. Only available for 5 or 6 weeks around May, these small mangoes are unlike any others. Sweet and simultaneously lightly acidic, unctuous and yet refreshing. A real treat that normally requires a trip to the Cowley Road, we will have them for sale in the shop this week
Our fish will be arriving on Thursday again and we will be carrying on the celebratory theme with fresh, sweet Lobsters, Lemon Sole, Monkfish and Scallops. All will be for sale in the shop and on the restaurant menu.

We hope to see many of you over the coming days.
