Heavenly scented sweet peas this week!

Another week of changeable Spring weather but the temperature in the glasshouses stays warm so we have lots of deliciously scented Sweet Peas this week.

It may be a month or two till we have our own Worton tomatoes for sale – though our own plants are being planted out at the moment – but, in the interim, we are delighted to be receiving our very first delivery of the year from The Tomato Stall in the Isle of White. Following on from the last of the Sardinian Camone Winter Tomatoes, we will have organic heritage tomatoes and mouth-watering cocktail and cherry tomatoes on sale in the shop this weekend.
From Thursday we will again have Cornish day boat fish from Newlyn and shellfish from Constantine. Lots of Lemon Sole on sale in the shop or Wood Roast in the restaurant. Skate Wings which we will be serving with Brown Butter, Capers and Parsley and more of those wonderful Wild Mussels. Finally, we’ve been able to get more of the fantastic Hake that has featured over the last couple of months – we have a good supply this week so fresh cutlets in the shop and a return of the Spanish favourite, Merluza Alla Gallega in the restaurant.

We look forward to greeting you at the farm over the coming days
