The glasshouse flowers are now in full force with a wide range of tulips to compliment the narcissi, anemones and hyacinths. Available in the beautiful Willow pottery hand-thrown pots or as cut flowers there is something for everyone this weekend.

There are still a few tickets available for Saturday 26th March – the night will be an opportunity to shape WKG’s oenological future. The opening event in this summer’s Worton Nights series is a wine and food matching experience like no other. The evening will comprise a delicious five course meal highlighting the best of our seasonal produce with wine pairings for each course, yet each course will be paired with not one, but two wines to excite the senses. The wines have been selected by the team at WKG and each pair will be presented by Master of Wine, Beans Boughton MW.
Beans has dedicated his career to the world of honest wine and has a passion for wines from boutique producers who respect terroir and the environment. Beans is a great host, who’s made it his mission to cut through much of the pretentiousness and fluff that surrounds wine. An expert winetaster who has attained the highest qualification, that of Master of Wine, held by only 422 people around the globe, Beans has run wine courses for all levels of wine lovers, and has consulted on wine lists for Michelin-starred chefs. He will be on hand to guide us through the pairings and answer any questions you may have during the evening.
The evening will be a delight for the senses, filled with great food and wine and your views will help shape our new wine list and the wines which we will have available for off-sales in the shop. With your ticket you will be entitled to a 20% discount on purchases of the wines drunk so click here to reserve a place now.
We do hope to see you over the coming days
