A cornucopia of Worton’s Finest

We know from all the calls and emails we’ve received that many of you are as excited as we are at the prospect of re-opening the restaurant.  Our aim is to open from next Saturday 4th July subject to making any changes required to maintain safety for our guests and the team.  As the details have only just been released, we are working through all safety aspects and will send out an email in the next few days to let you know what we’re going to do and what service we will be offering.

One necessary change appears to be that we’ll need to operate a table-booking system. When we first go live with this system, we will ensure that those who have placed orders for Click and Collect and Delivery over the last 3 months have first access as a way of saying Thank You for your loyalty over this difficult period.

Lots of delicious fruit and vegetables this week as the glorious summer weather continues.  The very first UK cauliflowers will be in the shop together with new season Maris Peer potatoes, flat Helda beans and some utterly delicious Dauphine figs. From Ascott Gardens, we have gooseberries and redcurrants to compliment the strawberries and raspberries we have sourced from Choice Organics.  On the seafood side we have lots of Cornish mussels as well as palourde clams and hake fillets.

We will also be offering a delivery service as usual from Friday to Tuesday.
