High summer at the farm and lots of new life … very cute Middlewhite piglets born 3 weeks ago, new Muscovy ducklings, Goslings and Guinea Fowl keets. So much new life…. so much for the kids (or indeed the “kidults”) to visit and feed!
Lots of other distractions coming up over the next couple of months with workshops and Supper Clubs galore – do visit the website to book your slot. First up we are delighted to welcome back long time friend of the farm, Arthur Parkinson, who will be hosting another Dahlia workshop on 29th August – tickets are selling quickly but we have a few still available – Click Here.
A cornucopia of fantastic seafood up from our friends, Flying Fish, in Cornwall in the restaurant this week: Whole Roast Plaice – plump, sweet, delicate and smothered in Beurre Noisette served with day-fresh Charlotte potatoes and Agretti, Monkfish in a Goan style curry, Cornish Sardines with Aioli and the return of hand-dived Orkney Scallops with the first of the year’s Confit Elephant Garlic.
Finally, we are delighted to announce that we will now be serving a full brunch menu on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Many of you have already sampled our delicious Shakshuka, Bacon and Eggs or Porridge with thick Jersey Cream and Mirabelles on Sunday mornings – we will now be serving the same delicious pick-me-ups on Saturdays as well! As our Tomatillos are so productive at the moment we will also be serving Huevos Rancheros Verdes tomorrow!
