One of the 100 Best Restaurants?

First of all, many thanks to everyone who has already nominated us for entry in The Good Food Guide and then later as one of the guide’s 100 Best Local Restaurants.  We are now in the last few days of voting prior to nominations closing on 16th April and we have reason to be optimistic about our chances of an award. An enormously self-indulgent plea then that you take a moment to add your nomination by clicking on the above link (click the photo and follow the instructions) – your vote could make all the difference!

Irrespective of listings and awards, life here at the farm goes on as normal with some great food to be served over the coming days – our first Radishes and Calcots of the year have been picked, Oriental Greens have returned and the glasshouses are full of life and promise!.

Next week we are really excited to welcome back the Oxley-Meier Guitar Project for their annual Easter Saturday Concert.  The is a real treat as we host one of the UK’s finest modern guitar duets – expect lush and scintillating soundscapes ranging from Turkey to Brazil with a selection of great jazz standards thrown into the mix.  As The Observer noted “When it comes to empathy, this duet of guitar virtuosi comes close to perfection”. Where better to spend a Saturday evening than here at the farm listening to world class music while dinking a glass or two and eating some delicious food? Tickets for this intimate evening  of music and delicious food are for sale by clicking here.

We look forward to welcoming you over the coming days.
