Our Best New Dishes of 2024

So the last 5 chances to join us for a meal here at the farm before our mid-winter break. Whether you fancy a luxurious, indulgent meal on New Years Eve or something comforting and delicious on the days in-between, we can help you!

For New Year’s Eve, we will be serving a luxurious banquet – the menu includes Worton Cured Gravadlax, French Onion Soup, Cornish Lobster, Wild Mallard, Venison Wellington, Ginger Pudding and Tarte Tatin. Tickets can still be bought in advance by clicking here.

For a more familiar but delicious meal, there are spaces available for lunch from today to Sunday and Friday and Saturday evenings. As everyone seems to be compiling their Best of 2024 lists at the moment, we decided to fill the menu with the most popular dishes of the year – your favourites! Dishes such as Pear, Endive, Walnut and Stichelton Salad, Globe Artichoke and Hollandaise, Goan Fish Curry, Roast Monkfish with Bayonne Ham and Lentils will be sitting side by side with the Spicy Tuscan Fennel Sausages and the 18hr Roast Pork Shoulder! For dessert we will have Bounty Cake back on the menu!

After what we hope will be a really enjoyable but busy week, we will be closing for our mid-winter break from 1st to 16th January. We will re-open at 10am on Friday 17th January with piping hot Croissants and Toast, home-made Jams and our own Wild Honey.

Although you can no longer buy physical gifts from our online shop till we re-open, you are still be able to buy gift vouchers and tickets for events, workshops and concerts for the first half of next year. Why not treat yourself to a Fermentation Workshop or come to learn how to make Sourdough Bread – date/tickets are now live for the first 6 months of 2025.
