Lots of events coming up over the next month starting with Arthur Parkinson’s Tulip workshop on Friday 11th April.
Always popular, Arthur will talk about how to grow and care for tulips both in pots and in the ground, how organically to avoid pests and how to cut blooms to ensure the longest lasting display. Arthur will curate various arrangements of flamboyant colours of the season from stained glass colours en masse to excitable single stemmed circus pallets! Why not join us for a fascinating morning of flamboyant colour, followed by lunch in the conservatory? Click here for tickets.
Later the same day, we have our first Drawing Club led by Bethan Elford an image-maker and creative facilitator. In Bethan’s words, “Drawing club is… designed for people who think they can’t draw and a challenge for people who think they can”. Each session will have a focus, but by no means is this a class. Bethan will guide you through curious drawing prompts to engage your creative spirit and encourage you to respond differently. Tickets are available here.
Later in the month we have Jazz from the Oxley-Meier Guitar Project on Easter Saturday, our annual Weeds from the Yard Supper Club on Friday 28th and another Zymology workshop led by myself the following day. More on each of these over the next few weeks!
Whether or not you join us for one of these special events, we hope also to welcome you to the farm to eat or drink a glass! More fresh Lemon Sole and Hake up from Cornwall this week together with the usual delicious pork and lots of duck both the Crispy Salad and the Farm Cured Confit!
