UK Sausage Week – who knew?!?

So, apparently, it’s a thing!  UK Sausage Week!  Who knew?  Certainly not us, but as luck would have it, we have been making fresh sausages this week…Perhaps the best sausages in the Cotswolds?

So lots of fresh Spicy Tuscan Sausages on the menu and in the shop.  Also, lots of Cumberland “Bangers” for sale and on the Brunch menu this weekend.  Do come and give them a try – delicious, herby and with some sourdough breadcrumbs to bind, they are a delicious take on a proper Banger.

A change of Roasts this Sunday as we showcase more of the utterly delicious Cotswold Lion from friend of the farm, Will Spray.  In this case we are really privileged to have some properly aged Mutton from the initial stock Will took to start his herd.  Some 4 or 5 years old, this is delicious, well-hung meat from a traditional Cotswold Sheep – do come and try a unique meat.  Well-hung, slow smoked and utterly delicious, this will be a sensational roast…
